Last Friday's major release, UTV's Sajid Khan directed Ajay Devgn starrer, HIMMATWALA, has under-performed at the box-office. While the opening was alright (good at single screens), the multiplexes and Gen-X failed to identify with the film set in 1983. After a good opening day, the collections fell on Saturday, and even Sunday was not all that great, in fact lower than the first day. During the opening week HIMMATWALA has netted close to 30 crore (to be validated) from India. HIMMATWALA has also failed to emulate the success of Sajid Khan's previous films in the overseas grossing £ 120,000 from UK and $198,000 from the US during the opening weekend (29-31 March).
