For the occasion of International Youth Day (IYD), which falls on August 12, Prakash Jha, along with the cast of his next film SATYAGRAHA, has recorded a series of videos in which he appeals to the youth to stand up for their rights. Keeping IYD in mind, Jha thought that such videos might help propagate the message among the youth. He feels that he can reach the masses more effectively through his film's cast.
The filmmaker, who is shooting SATYAGRAHA with Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Manoj Bajpayee, has started shooting these videos whenever he finds time between the shoots. He has already shot a couple of them. And he wants to make it clear that none of them will be used as promotional materials for his film.
The content of the videos is mostly based on the Indian Constitution. He is focusing on the right to equality, speedy prosecution of criminals and the right to information among other issues.
