BOMBAY TALKIES to have special screening at 66th Cannes Film Festival

The 66th Cannes Film Festival has unveiled its final official line up of films for its Competition, Un Certain Regard, Out of Competition, and Special and Midnight Screenings sections. The line-up includes two Indian films.BOMBAY TALKIES an anthology film directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee is in Special Screenings section while MONSOON SHOOTOUT by Amit Kumar will have a Midnight Screening. The Festival runs through 15-26 May, 2013.

This should be noted that India is the guest country this year at the 66th Cannes Film Festival and a large Indian delegation is expected to participate. Apart from the screenings of these two Indian films, Nandita Das, the well-known actress, film director, and the Ex-Chairman of the Children Film Society of India will be joining the Short Film and Cinefondation Jury this year. The Jury is headed by Jane Campion.
