WHO KILLED RAJIV...? is certainly one of its kind venture in India, which belongs to the genre of investigative film-making, highly popular in the west, especially Hollywood. One cannot help but compare the efforts of the filmmakers to those of JFK, the highly successful and critically acclaimed movie, which dealt with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
It boasts to offer a new insight into the assassination and investigates all the possible theories and conspiracies surrounding the events and its fallout, and the far reaching consequences. With the help of some archival footage, interviews, testimonies in courts and observations made by various commissions, the film will try to present the truth about the assassination from the point of view of the filmmaker who adds that he will not try to malign anyone or hurt anybody's sentiments through the film.
The docu-drama does sound interesting and here is hoping that it gets completed soon enough!
