Even as celebrations are continuing for RAANJHNAA which has been enjoying some tremendous feedback coming its way ever since the First Look was out, makers are all set to bring the film into the third gear. The promotion is seeing an escalation for itself and first step in this direction is the romantic number 'Tum Tak' which would be revealed soon.
''This would also be the first song in close to six months for A.R. Rahman ever since music of JAB TAK HAI JAAN was released,'' informs a source, ''Being quite selective about the work that he picks and chooses, RAANJHANAA was the only film that Rahman picked up other than the Yash Chopra affair. This pretty much shows the kind of interest level that director Aanand L. Rai and Irshad Kamil's lyrics have managed to invoke in the maestro. There is a trademark Rahman stamp that would be there for all to be seen in 'Tum Tak'.'
More so since the Javed Ali sung number cuts across boundaries and doesn't restrict itself to being a standalone romantic number.
''Isn't that the least one expects when Rahman and Irshad come together,' says producer Krishika Lulla who has spent close to a year pursuing her dream of bringing to fore this small-town love story, 'The song is special because it seamlessly blends romantic with spiritual elements. You can hear 'Tum Tak' both ways, either as a love song or the one which is sung in devotion to God.''
Apparently Sonam as well as Dhanush were so mesmerized with the song that they couldn't help playing it on repeatedly right through the film's shoot. Now one hopes music lovers too do the same once the song, which would be the first to arrive, is unveiled in quick time.
