Bollywood box-office report of the week

This week (Thursday) saw the release of Milan Luthria's Akshay, Imran and Sonakshi starrer, ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI DOBAARA. It was obvious that OUATIM DOBAARA was not going to embark on a hurricane start, a la CHENNAI EXPRESS, as Eid festivities have already ended and also the release size is much smaller (OUATIMD -1200 and CE-3500). Having said that OUATIMD did carry a good hype and popular music and of course the intrinsic merits associated with a Milan Luthria venture. And so, OUATIM DOBAARA embarked on a good 85-100 percent start (though first day total will be 8-10 crore due to a limited release) and the reasonably positive word of mouth (which is already filtering in) will help it's cause further, when the release becomes wider (2500) Friday onwards.
