Priyanka Chopra is busier than ever before. A few weeks back she released the music video of 'Exotic', then she moved on to shoot for Mary Kom flick, in the middle of this all she was also a major part of the promotional campaign of PLANES and now she is gearing up for the release of ZANJEER.
As the film gears up for its release in 10 days from now, one wonders how did Priyanka bring herself into being a quintessential 'hero ki heroine' and mouth dialogues that were straight out of 70s and 80s.
"Arrey, I am an actor. It has been a lot of fun for me in there during ZANJEER. Even if you cast me as wallpaper then I will be the best wallpaper out there. So guys just bring it on," laughs Priyanka.
She is expected to be much more than wallpaper in the biopic 'Mary Kom' though.
"Well, first of all Mary Kom film is not a biopic. It is not a docudrama, it is a feature film. Of course the film is about Mary Kom's life but then we have built a cinematic world around it. We have just done our schedule and it has turned out to be fantastic," she says.
What has also been fantastic is the kind of reception that she has got for first ever animation film PLANES where she has lent her voice for a prominent character.
"Yeah, I am the voice of Ishani, which is the only champion plane of Indian origin in the film. Mine is a very cute character. I have also sung in so it is all the more exciting. Guess what, on my birthday, so many people sent me these 'Ishaani planes' that they picked from the Disney stores. It was heartening," smiles Priyanka before signing off.
