Riding on the success of as many as four successes, each of which crossed the 100 crore mark, Sonakshi's luck hasn't been as favourable in 2013, what with ONCE UPON AY TIME IN MUMBAAI DOBAARA not really covering the distance, LOOTERA primarily being content with the critical acclaim and BULLETT RAJA featuring her in a relatively smaller part. However with a major film R... RAJKUMAR arriving this weekend, she has all the right reasons to hope that the year would end with a bang.
So how is she making her presence felt as a princess for her 'Rajkumar'?
Laughs Sonakshi, 'For that you would have to watch the movie and figure it out! Having said that, I have never really had a problem making my presence felt. It wasn't many moons back when I made my debut film with a Salman Khan starrer. How many would have really believed had they been told that this debutante girl would make her presence felt in the film? Still, after the film's release, many wrote that here is this new girl who has held her own opposite a stalwart like Salman.'
Now that Sunil Lulla and Viki Rajani produced R... RAJKUMAR is carrying some good buzz around it; Sonakshi is hopeful that the year would end on a high.
'I am creating my own thing in the industry as per the best of my ability. There is something that audience can identify with me. This is what I try and give,' says Sonakshi in a confident tone before signing off.
