Bollywood actor Aamir Khan made his first appearance on Karan Johar's juicy chat show 'Koffee with Karan' with his star wife Kiran Rao and candidly spoke about his personal and professional life. On the show, Aamir also opened up about his equation with Salman Khan, just the way the latter revealed in the first episode of the controversial chat show.
AAMIR KHAN AND SALMAN KHAN
When asked about his bonding with Salman Khan, Aamir admitted that initially he didn't get on well with Salman. ''I had a bad experience working with him in ANDAZ APNA APNA. I found him very rude and inconsiderate. But that changed when I split with Reena,'' expressed Aamir.
He went on to add further stating, ''After working with him in ANDAZ APNA APNA, I decided to be polite and stay away from him. But then he walked into my life at a juncture when I was at my lowest and saw a very bad phase. We bumped into each other and he came over to my place and I don't know but something connected between us that time. We began spending more time together and so this time we struck a chord.''
On being further probed by Karan about Salman calling him the biggest superstar of Bollywood, Aamir asserted, ''Salman is being very generous kind and loving. He is very fond of me and which is why he is saying that.''
Justified Aamir, ''The fact is that for me to give a big success, I need to have great script, director and cast. With cast I don't mean stars but then each performer has to perform well, each technician has to give his best. Salman doesn't need that. He has his star power. He just comes in shakes his belt a couple of times, puts his goggles behind his shirt or something and everyone just goes bananas. I don't have that kind of stardom.''
