Known for his expertise and background in martial arts, he trains extensively not just as prep for his films but also to constantly take his ''action and stunt based'' craft to the next level. While one might think of this as regular, his training methodology by now stretch of imagination is regular.

A source close to Vidyut says, ''Vidyut, unlike others, trains with a group of martial artists and fitness enthusiasts, who believe in the craft beyond just a means of fitness. He has been able to put together a team of eight men who may not fit into the 'traditional' definition of what you may imagine as the team of an actor. This team comprises of men who come from different walks of life - from bus conductors to store keepers who he brought together after an extensive search.

He visited a number of training academies first and then visited more local haunts to identify men who may consider their craft a matter of survival as opposed to what the mindset of an academy trained guy would be.

Vidyut's eye for identifying this ability comes from his background - where he was in an ashram in Kerala training in martial arts since the age of three. He interacted with all kinds of people growing up, who were driven purely by the passion for the martial art form and the keenness to learn and be the best they can. It took him a while before he managed to put together his ''dream'' team which today comprises of his eight boys (as he affectionately calls them) who constantly push themselves and him to create more rigorous and tougher sequences and designs.''

The source also reveals that Vidyut and his team train every day for a good five to six hours comprising of fitness, endurance and agility training coupled with combat and martial art based stunt designing and constant testing. In fact, it is believed that they were together responsible for creating skeletal designs for the action sequences for Vidyut's forthcoming film COMMANDO along with the South African specialized stunt team. The stunt sequences in the trailer of the film have left people aghast showcasing absolutely mind boggling, never before seen Hollywood style intense action done minus cables and stunt doubles all by Vidyut himself!

Well, looks like we might just see a whole new approach and passion for action courtesy the game changer Vidyut Jamwal and his team, raising our expectations from our Gen Next action hero much higher!
