CHASHME BUDDOOR: Siddharth gears up for first comedy in Bollywood

Siddharth, who was much appreciated for his intense performance in RANG DE BASANTI as Karan Singhania, is back on the block with yet another Bollywood flick in the much awaited David Dhawan's CHASHME BADDOOR which is going to be a one hell of a laugh riot!


Siddharth who had been lately busy with his numerous South film assignments was lately seen in acclaimed director Deepa Mehta's MIDNIGHT'S CHILDREN for which he has been garnering a lot of praises, he played the role of antagonist Shiva in the movie! After being part of such powerful roles Siddharth is all set to showcase a different side of himself to the audience.

On a lighter note he is gearing up to make a debut in comedy, unlike his co-stars Ali Zafar in (TERE BIN LADEN, MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN)& Divyendu Sharma in (PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA) who have been part of comic capers, this genre is going to be new for Siddharth and he is all set for it.

Directed by David Dhawan & Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, CHASHME BUDDOOR stars Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma and Southern siren Tapasee who is all set to make her Bollywood debut this year. Catch the soon-to-be youth anthem of 2013 as the film hits theaters on 5th April, 2013!
