If one goes by the promise made by Sajid Khan, Ajay Devgn would be enjoying one of the best screen entries ever in the 100 years history of Hindi films. For HIMMATWALA, a special entry sequence has been designed for Ajay which, as per Sajid, would stand tall as one of the three all-time best entries that a Bollywood hero has made. Incidentally, he rates Ajay's own PHOOL AUR KAANTE sequence (where he stormed the screen by arriving on two bikes) as one of these.
'Another entry that he considers as the best ever is the made by Amitabh Bachchan in COOLIE. An ardent fan of hardcore commercial entertainer films, Sajid wants his hero's arrival on screen to be special indeed, especially considering the fact that as a film, HIMMATWALA is as heroic as it gets. He is already betting this entry to result in 'seeti maar' applause all over the nation,' says a mutual associate of the director and the actor.
In fact Sajid has told Ajay as well as other close friends that if the film doesn't entice thunderous response in theatres, be it single screens/multiplexes or urban/interior centres, he would even change his name.
Smiles Sajid, 'Yes, Ajay's entry in HIMMATWALA would be one of the Top-3 ever. It isn't as if my sequence is competing with the other two. However, as an audience I want to see my hero arrive in a particular manner and this is what I have designed for Ajay. Of course the bet is there. I can also assure that at least half the price of your ticket would be 'vasool' within first 10 minutes itself. I can guarantee that.'
Since Ajay has already arrived atop a bike, car and even horses, one wonders what new would he be doing this time around.
