Minissha Lamba: I was not apprehensive to work with Sunny Leone

While it is a known fact that Sunny Leone is doing a film titled TINA AND LOLO with director Devang Dholakia, there was a slot open for another leading lady once Richa Chadda, apparently the original choice, expressed ignorance about doing it. Now that Minissha Lamba has pronto walked in, the film is all set to go on floors in the middle of next month.

However contrary to popular misconception, the film won't be an erotica, despite Sunny in there.
''The film has been designed as an out and out action thriller and that's the way it would stay,'' says Minissha.
The film has just two protagonists and both are females. And no, before one start running your imagination wild, there is nothing intimate between the two females either. Considering the fact that Sunny Leone started her Bollywood career with an erotica JISM 2, had her assets speaking the loudest in a brief appearance in SHOOTOUT AT WADALA and is now set for a hat-trick of erotica with RAGINI MMS 2, it seems rather surprising that the makers aren't really looking at cashing in on her image and are instead doing something drastically different.
''Well, I can tell you for sure that the film does not have an erotic quotient,'' says Minissha Lamba, ''I was not even apprehensive when told that Sunny was in there. I know that when filmmakers come to me, they do so only when there is some substance in a role. They know for sure that I wouldn't do an erotica.''
To be produced by Parag Sanghvi, the film would be extensively shot at some virgin locations in Georgia, Eurasia.
''I am most excited since this is the first time I would be indulging in action,'' smiles Minissha.
While Minissha is obviously ecstatic about beginning work on the film and finding new fans due to her indulging in action for the first time ever, one wonders though how would Sunny's fans react on realising that they have been deprived of all the 'action', albeit of a different kind, that they were perhaps hoping for.
