While the dust has still not settled on the remake rights issue of Shekhar Kapoor's Naseer, Shabana and Jugal Hansraj starrer, MASOOM (as we had informed our patrons earlier this month), another Shabana Azmi starrer, the Mahesh Bhatt directed ARTH seems to be heading in the same direction.

ARTH
ARTH

Kuljit Pal, the producer of ARTH, who had made the film under his banner, Anu Arts, has in a public notice informed all concerned that, ''It appears that Mahesh Bhatt has committed an offense, misleading Pakistani producers by assigning them the rights of ARTH, that legally belong solely to us. You all are advised not to deal with Shri Mahesh Bhatt for ARTH.''

Well, we now await Mahesh Bhatt's take on the subject.
