She was speaking at the music launch function of her next release LOOTERA directed by Vikramaditya Motwane whose first film UDAAN had made it to Un Certain Regard selection at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival. Generally the Bollywood celebrity brigade refrains from answering questions like who is the best director or actor they have worked with. The young ones have to be extra-cautious lest they may trade on some tender toes in the process and thus jeopardize their career prospects.
The Bihari babe Sonakshi Sinha does not seem to nurse such fears. She was quite forthright in declaring her views about Vikramaditya Motwane. She said he was the best director she had worked with and he had extracted the best out of her in his period film where she plays the role of Pakhi opposite Ranveer Singh. She realized Motwane's genius right from the day he narrated the script to her. She could see herself in the role and knew that it was going to be the most challenging role of her acting career. What she had to do was to hear Motwane explain the nuances of the role to her and do what he wanted her to do.
The entire cast and crew were present during the music launch function. The film's music is composed by Amit Trivedi and is marketed by T Series. The album has six tracks and Amitabh Bhattacharya has written the lyrics. The singers include Monali Thakur, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Shilpa Rao, Amit Trivedi, Mohan Kanan, and Swanand Kirkire. The second theatrical trailer of the film was also released on the occasion.
