Neil Nitin Mukesh: 3G will take TABLE NO. 21's trend forward
March 4, 2013 07:05:42 PM IST By Joginder Tuteja, Glamsham Editorial
Nein Nitin Mukesh is in a happy space. His upcoming flick 3G is seeing some good buzz building around itself and the songs have started catching up as well. With the film's USP of being a psychological horror thriller promising many exciting moments, 3G is gearing up for release. Meanwhile what is also standing out is the fact that despite its budget in the mid-range, the end product is looking grand and polished.
'We have shot the film in Fiji and have managed to shoot in a very elaborate manner. We made sure though that budgets were in control and there was no overspent. The producers are happy with the costing of the film. Viki (Rajani) and Eros are catering to some interesting cinema together where content is meeting class. We saw that in TABLE NO.21 a few weeks back. 3G will take the trend forward,'' says Neil in a confident tone.
In the film, he has stepped into a zone where technology is coming into picture, just as was the case in AA DEKHEN ZARA which was written by Sheershak Anand & Shantanu Ray Chhibber, who are now making their debut as co-directors with 3G.
'With Shantanu and Sheershak there is a tuning that I have formed over the years. AA DEKHE ZARA was a technology driven film since it talked about looking into the future with the help of a camera. These guys are really fabulous, extremely innovative and know how to jump out of the box. The kind of ideas that they bring are like a whiff of fresh air for the industry. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them,'' says Neil.
We hope the audiences do as well when the film releases all over on 15th March.
