THE ATTACKS OF 26/11 has released and expectedly, the film has generated extreme reactions. Well, critically at the least. While some reviews have been unfavourable, quite a few have been ultra-positive. Given the topicality of the film's theme, it was expected that the film would go through a lot of scrutiny and opinions would fly in from all quarters.

"When you are making any film on the basis of real time incidents, it is obvious that lots of people will say lots of things,' says RGV in a composed tone, 'I knew that those would watch the film would be in the know-how of what really happened that night. Some might know details, others may have a perspective on it and a few may have run their imagination. The film catered to all kind of reactions and I was prepared for that."

Personally though, the filmmaker is content that he made the film since it turned out to be an emotionally charged experience for him.

'It changed me a lot as a person. See, every person is a sum total of experiences that he gains in his life time and absorbs what he sees around him. The sheer complexities of 26/11 and the way I was exposed to it during the filming had a major impact on me more as a person than a director. Combination of all of this reflected in the way the film was made. The medium in which the emotions were driven forward was an experience in itself,' says Ramu before signing off.
