JOLLY L.L.B. has managed to strike the right chord. With less than four days to go for the film's release, there is a good curiosity build up that the film has enjoyed something that has stemmed out of the innovative promotion campaign that has caught eyeballs. Though one would have expected the film's central protagonist Arshad Warsi to be rejoicing already with the prospects of a good run, the actor prefers to be cautious in his approach.
"Of course I am happy with the kind of feedback I am already getting despite the film not even being released. Still, this is a very fickle industry. Kuch surety nahi ho sakti yahan par. Kal kissne dekha. You never know what works and what doesn't. It is better to celebrate when the film indeed succeeds. Let the verdict be out, numbers be counted and tab pata lagega ki picture kitni aage jaayegi,'' smiles Arshad.
He is in the know-how of the way audience is reacting to the promos that are playing in theatres. After checking out some of such response first hand in his visits to theatres, Arshad is well aware of the fact that a right vibe is currently being created.
"I am so happy with the response so far that it is not funny. Hota aisa hai that sometimes you feel picture achchi hai lekin aap bolte raho phir bhi aur log believe nahi karte. Yahan toh first promo level par hi kamaal ho gaya. Anyways, 15th March is just round the corner and we would know the verdict soon. I think the film will work. For everyone's sake, I wish my judgment turns out to be good,'' signs off Arshad in a hopeful tone.
