Known to reinvent herself in every film that she does, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will now be seen playing a loud hatti-katti punjabi housewife with a bizarre sense of fashion in Raj kumar Gupta's quirky comedy GHANCHAKKAR.

Vidya Balan says, 'I had great fun playing Nitu Bhatia in GHANCHAKKAR...She's the hatti-katti punjabi house wife who we all know, somehow. She is The Cats ' Whiskers, when it comes to Fashion. She's the sort of woman who goes for a walk one day and feels exercise kar li na toh ek aur samosa khaane mein koi harj nai. Subarna Rai Chaudhari (her designer in the film) went mad trying to put together the look. What she wears is almost outlandish and even bizarre sometimes...but that's for you!'

CHECK OUT: Introducing Mr & Mrs GHANCHAKKAR Emraan Hashmi & Vidya Balan

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the much awaited GHANCHAKKAR also stars Emraan Hashmi. The film is set to release on June 28, 2013.
