While the entire country is gearing up to revel in the spirit of the colourful festival Holi, our Bollywood actresses share their fond childhood memories of Holi, favourite Holi song, hair care tips and their plans to immerse in the celebration of the fun-filled festival.
Best childhood Holi memory: My brother and I used to plan Holi pranks two days in advance. The most mischievous thing that I have done was once when my brother and I had put color in the water tank of the house. My friends and cousins were at my place and we had a blast. I can never forget that Holi, the celebration did not end. No one could ever play a trick on me as I was always ready to do it first.
Favourite Holi song: 'Rang barse bheege chunarwali' is my favorite Holi song as it has masti and fun attached to it. It just gives me the mood to enjoy the festival even more. 'Holike din dil mil jatehai' also suits the theme and mood of the festival very well. These are my all-time favorite songs.
Holi Hair Care: Before stepping out to play Holi, a must do ritual for me is massaging my hair with coconut based hair oil. It gets absorbed in the hair strands as well as the roots and acts as a shield, protecting my hair from the harsh colours. Just because its holi, it does not mean I don't style my hair. The side braid which is in these days is my go-to 'do hairstyle.
How are you celebrating Holi this year? Will spend the day with my family and friends as I will finally have a day off from work.
