We have heard and seen many claim that Indian Cinema is responsible for the unsafe behavior towards women in recent times. At the Cinema100 ... The Next Wave 2-Day Festival, planned by the students of Whistling Woods International, the students have taken proactive steps by joining hands with an NGO to make a difference. The NGO & the Students have actioned ''Self Defense Workshops'' on both days of the Festival.

Taking an active initiative in the recent happenings, WWI will be hosting these workshops in Self Defense for Women & Children on the Campus on the 11th & 12th of May.

CHECK OUT: Whistling Woods back with Cinema 100!

President of WWI Ms. Meghna Ghai Puri said ''I am so proud of our Students who approached me with this extremely innovative Workshop. Even though Self-Defense & Martial Arts has no direct link with Indian Cinema, WWI is a platform of Education and what better way to use that platform than this. I feel Self-Defense is becoming increasingly important in our world and I invite one and all to visit us at Cinema100 to experience the Next Wave of Indian Cinema through the eyes of these young talented Filmmakers.''

At Cinema 100 - The Next Wave, one can experience exciting Workshops free of cost, Masterclasses by Industry Stalwarts, Panel discussions that will talk about the next wave of cinema, art installations and exhibitions that celebrates our golden history of Indian cinema.
