Though both YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA and SON OF SARDAAR were multi-starrers, but without an iota of doubt, actor Mukul Dev made his presence felt and was one of the pillars of the two aforementioned movies.

The talented and versatile actor is busy with his new bunch of films, one of which is WAR CHHOD NA YAAR. When we asked Mukul about the film and his role, he told us, ''It is basically about what happens at the border, 15 hours before a war. Though the subject is serious, it has been tackled in a funny and satirical way. Actually when you say something serious and add a bit of humour, it becomes very interesting.''

CHECK OUT: Mukul Dev - SON OF SARDAR is about two warring Sardar families

Talking about his role Mukul revealed, ''I play an infiltrator from across the border, and there is a comedy of errors. You know, the general perception is that every infiltrator is a terrorist, but that is not the case. Most of them are simple people from the hills, who cross over in search of a better livelihood in India.'

With a star cast boasting of Sharman Joshi, Mukul Dev and Soha Ali Khan, the Faraz Haider directed, WAR CHHOD NA YAAR, seems like a very interesting and topical subject as well.
