Bollywood thespian Amitabh Bachchan is a busy man. The actor, who is currently shooting for 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and BHOOTNATH RETURNS, has been invited to Goa's Think Fest and Kolkata International Film Festival.
While the actor has been invited by Tarun Tejpal, of Tehelka fame, to Goa's Think Fest, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has invited Bachchan to the Kolkata International Film Festival.
Big B posted about the same on his blog saying, ''Day after... the 8th... is the THINK Fest in Goa, and they invite me for a conversation with its leader and conceptualiser Tarun Tejpal, of Tehelka fame. This concept has grown in importance and stature through the years where prominent personalities from different walks of life, come along and participate in talks and discussions on topics that deal with every possible subject under the sun. The invitees have been drawn from all over the world and there has been great patronage.''
He further added, ''Soon after, on the 10th, is the Kolkata International Film Festival, which I shall be attending at the most kind invitation of the Chief Minister of Bengal, Honourable Mamata Bannerjee, once a member of Parliament during the time I was there for a short while, representing the same party. Last year too she had invited me, and we had all gone together to a glittering function at the Netaji Subhash Stadium, details of that visit had been posted on my Blog last year - Shahrukh and Katrina and Anushka were there too promoting their film 'Jab tak hai Jaan', Shahrukh of course being the brand ambassador of Bengal...''
