Aamir Khan, who is gearing up for his upcoming film DHOOM 3, has not only worked hard on his physique, but has also impressed everyone with his extraordinary acrobatic dance moves with his on-screen lady love Katrina Kaif in his recently released song, 'Malang'.
The song has been shot at a huge height of about 80 feet and the actor is seen rotating about 60 times in a minute for the same. Since Aamir plays the role of a gymnast in the movie, this was required, and the perfectionist that he is, the actor willingly took it up without complaints and wanted to do it just the right way.
To shoot this song, Aamir Khan was on medication to avoid nausea while shooting for the song. As Aamir was shooting at a huge height, taking turns, the makers took precautionary measure to keep the actor on medication, since the shoot of the song lasted for almost 15 days, which is quite a lot of time.
Also to make sure all is well, the makers of the movie had also called a doctor, who works with gymnasts, to be on the sets to help Aamir. 'Malang' is a high on energy song, both in terms of scale and budget. With the central theme of gymnastic and with 200 dancers in the frame, the song is bound to be massive.
'The song was being shot at about 80 feet from the ground. To do this, Aamir was on special medication to be able to perform at ease without major effects on his health,' says a spokesperson of the actor.
The film also stars Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra and releases on December 20, 2013.
