Karan Johar's GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN to be a savior for Imran Khan

It is pretty much loud and clear. If the promos of his upcoming film GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN are any indication, Imran Khan is pretty much back in his comfort zone. This also means that after a year long stint with experimentation (that didn't quite go in his favour) Imran is all set to resume his successful stint at the box office that had seen a momentary break.
"Imran Khan was riding high on his stature as an urban and contemporary chocolate boy. He had five back to back successes - I HATE LUV STORYS, BREAK KE BAAD, DELHI BELLY, MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN, and EK MAIN AUR EK TU - albeit of varied degree, before he took an altogether different route with MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA and ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI DOBAARA. The decision backfired," comments an observer.
No wonder, his presence in GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN is being seen as a safe move, especially considering the fact that he is back in the Dharma fold which had earlier too revived his standing with I HATE LUV STORYS when he was reeling with back to back flops - LUCK and KIDNAP.
"Now things seem to be pretty much in track for Imran. If one sees the theatrical promo or the recently released dance number 'Dhat Teri Ki' , where he is grooving along with Esha Gupta, Imran is pretty much in his elements. After a couple of disappointments early in the year, he should well be ending 2013 on a high," the expert continues.
Considering the fact that Imran has signed only one more film (BHAVIN JOSHI with Vikramaditya Motwane), GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN could well be a decision enabler affair in the future for Imran.
