She played a central protagonist with aplomb in her last release MURDER 3 and brought in some charm in the proceedings despite a grim set up. Prior to that she had a triple role of sorts in LONDON PARIS NEW YORK where each of the three cities presented her in a different light altogether. Now in her upcoming film BOSS she is the only female character in the film.
No wonder, Aditi loves the kind of attention coming her way.
'When you are the only girl in the film which is pretty much male dominated, you are bound to be pampered rich by everyone on the sets,' giggles Aditi, 'The entire cast was so nice and spoiling. Within the film too, I got so much space for myself. When the entire set up is that of an action comedy, it is a girl who brings in freshness, romance and femininity. It was my responsibility to get it right and when you have a huge starcast around you which is made of very well-known and respected people like Akshay Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa and Ronit Roy, you have to deliver well.'
For someone who started with offbeat cinema like YEH SAALI ZINDAGI and DELHI 6, a film like BOSS is some shift for her.
'There is a reason behind that,' says Aditi, 'I always say that you just can't be doing a film because it is big. There has to be something in there to attract you to it. BOSS is one film which gives me a lot of space. Otherwise if I had to be just standing there, flutter my eyelashes and sing songs, I could have picked and chosen from many other offers as well that had come in the past. I didn't do that and I am glad my entry into a hardcore commercial entertainer is with BOSS.'
