The ace choreographer, actor and filmmaker, Remo D'souza, who turns 42 today, will be celebrating his birthday with close pals and family. The biggest gift for Remo has been the year 2013, which gave him a different high! He fetched awards; he could make a film like ABCD. Says Remo, ''I will be celebrating with my close friends and family. Yes this year has been truly special for me.''

While 'Badtameez Dil' from YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI won him his first Award, Remo is waiting with bated breath for the TEVAR song, which features Sonakshi Sinha in it. '''Badtameez Dil' was a big feat for me but I am now eagerly looking forward to TEVAR song, which is set to be very big,'' says Remo.

Ask him which of the three projects he directed will remain closest to him and he says, ''All the three films which I have directed have been really great and special for me. Beit my first Bengali film with Mithun Da or F.A.L.T.U., which marked my debut in Bollywood or ABCD (ANYBODY CAN DANCE), I can't choose among them. It's like differentiating among your own kids....'' However, when we probed him, he divulged, ''ABCD will be closest to my heart as it represented me in a different light. I had the opportunity to work with my favourite Prabhu Dheva, who is touted as the big daddy of dance in Bollywood. The idea of making ABCD was to fulfill the promise which I had made to DID contestants.''
