“Right from childhood I had a dream to be a part of the film industry. I was always looking out for a chance to do something in movies business. So when I came across a film like AA TE KEVI DUNNIYA, I decided to produce it,” Khatri says.

While the writer & director of the film Tejas Padiaa wanted to make it in Hindi, Khatri was keen to have AA TE KEVI DUNNIYA in Gujarati. Probe Khatri about choosing Gujarati language over Hindi and he says, “Firstly, there is a dearth of good cinema, especially Gujarati cinema. And right from day one I was clear that I wanted to make a Gujarati film as I am Gujarati. Secondly, the subject of AA TE KEVI DUNNIYA is very strong and appealing. Moreover, I don't like run-of-the-mill topics like love stories or typical action films, I wanted to do something unique like AA TE KEVI DUNNIYA.”

Despite being a regional film, Khatri says that there has been no compromise on budgets whatsoever. “The film has been made nicely. Being a producer, I was completely involved in it. There has been no compromise or crunch in budgets whatsoever. AA TE KEVI DUNNIYA is made whole-heartedly. We made sure the shooting and everything runs smoothly and no one faces any problem.”

On a parting note, Khatri sums up his entire experience working on the film, “It was a great journey, a good experience. I hope the audience loves and admires our film and gives us their blessings.”

Starring Krishna Pandya Rawal, Raj Jatania, Yatin Parmar, Sunil Vishrani, Kinjal Pandya, Jayesh More, Rajkumar Kanojia, Falguni Desai, Padmesh Pandit, Sanat Vyas, with music by Viju Shah, AA TE KEVI DUNNIYA is slated to hit the screens on 9th January, 2015.
