Aamir Khan, who is all gung ho over the second season of his talk show 'Satyamev Jayate', spoke at length about various social issues affecting the country.

While the actor is keen on highlighting women empowerment in this season, he also seems to dedicate a special episode covering elections. ''I can't reveal more, but you need to watch the season for the episodes. We have just managed to place it timely, just before the elections,'' said Aamir.
However, he chose to refrain from commenting on Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan's court cases.
Aamir preferred to stay mum over Sanjay Dutt's extended parole controversy and stated, ''I don't think it is right to comment on Sanjay Dutt's matter for various reasons. One of them being, I am not aware of what the case is. I am sure there are certain rules and regulations involved that are being followed. And I am assuming that these are being followed in the same manner for everyone.''
He further added, ''But if something is not being followed, then the officer needs to be pulled up because that is the right action. And this I am not saying in Sanju's case, but in general. Nobody is above the law.''
When quizzed further about his take on the delay in Salman Khan's hit-and-run case, Khan replied, ''Ideally, nobody would want a case to go on and on forever because it is a torturous process for all of them who are involved in it. But a celebrity or person with power can get away with a judicial case easily is something that I think has been put to rest by now. Many people in the position of power have been punished and appropriate action has been taken.''
Meanwhile, Khan's 'Satyamev Jayate 2' directed by Satyajit Bhatkal, is slated to go on air, come March 2, 2014.
