Karan Johar: No Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone for SHUDDHI

Filmmaker Karan Johar clarified matters over the casting suspense of SHUDDHI.

At the trailer launch of 2 STATES Karan stated, ''We will talk about SHUDDHI next month.''


On probing further whether he has finalized Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for the film, after its earlier cast Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor backed out, KJo clarified, ''No.''

Meanwhile, 2 STATES starring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is all set to release on April 18, 2014. The movie is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Production and Sajid Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film is based on Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name.
