Debutante Kashish Singh, who recently featured on a popular film magazine cover, is gearing up for her Bollywood debut in Kumar Taurani's next which goes on-floors soon. Ask her about the film and she says, ''The shoot has not yet started and it is too early to reveal anything about it. It will start sometime soon. All I can tell you is that it is a thriller.''
She adds further, ''It's a story about what happens in a span of one night. Also, Kumarji wanted someone who is totally bindass for this particular character of the lead actress that I play. That is exactly the kind of attitude I believe in. Hence, I am looking forward to this movie soon.''
Kashish, who is a known face in the Punjabi film industry, appeared in a promotional song in the Punjabi film CARRY ON JATTA. Probe her about the experience and she says, ''It's been great so far and I always got to learn something new on the sets of my film, each day. Punjabi industry is a larger than life one and has given me a lot of love. I've had a good experience working here. As they say, Punjabi logon ka dil bahut bada hota hai aur bahut achi khatirdari karte hai sabki. Also, the overseas market for Punjabi films is very good.''
Now that you are debuting in Bollywood, with whom are you looking forward to work with? ''All the actors have their own style and charisma and I would like to work with all the veteran and contemporary actors over time,'' replies the pretty actress.
So are you open at doing bold scenes and item numbers? ''When the script demands something that is in sync with the role and makes the movie more entertaining and meaningful, I would definitely take it up. Bollywood has come a long way in its concepts and style of making movies, and hence is exploring something new and unique with every new script,'' concludes Kashish.
