Producer and filmmaker Vikas Bahl is gearing up for his next film, Kangana Ranaut starrer QUEEN, which is all set to release next month. This is his second film as a director, the first one being CHILLAR PARTY, which released in 2011.
Ask Vikas as to why he took time to come up with QUEEN and he says, ''QUEEN took lot of time to be written. And also I was concentrating more on producing films because I love doing that. I love both producing and marketing the films.''

He adds further, ''I don't have the ability to make LOOTERA or DEV D. It is not my capability. I love the way Vikramaditya (Motwane) and Anurag (Kashyap) direct films. So it is like I would love making their films big as much I would want to make my films too.''
QUEEN, which is all set to release on February 28, 2014, also stars Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon and is produced by Phantom Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
Meanwhile, we also probed Vikas about his stand on Anurag Kashyap's fight against the 'No Smoking' disclaimer in the films and he retorts, ''Anurag (Kashyap) and I are together in it. That 'No Smoking' should go out of the window. They have to ban it. If tomorrow we show drink and drive in the film, so we will have to put a disclaimer for that as well? And the thing is that smoking is not even illegal. It is just for the health reasons we have to include it.''
He quips further, ''So if someone beats a woman on the streets we will have to show a disclaimer. So that means anything illegal will require a disclaimer which is not possible.''
