Before JAI HO release and when DHOOM 3 was about to hit the screens, Aamir Khan didn't leave a single opportunity to sing praises of his buddy Salman Khan. In fact, every time we came across the perfectionist he went gaga over Salman Khan's superstardom status and asserted that Salman is a bigger star than him. He even swore to promote Salman Khan's JAI HO, and Aamir did his bit to promote the film by showing his keenness on social media platform. A day before the release of film, Aamir posted a candid picture showing the ANDAAZ APNA APNA duo peeing together, which only proved the strong bond between the two. But all that was before the film hit the theatres and verdict was out.
AAMIR KHAN AND SALMAN KHAN
Post release we didn't hear anything from the star. While the world shunned Salman Khan's JAI HO, critics slammed it and audiences' showed their displeasure, Aamir Khan maintained a diplomatic silence. He didn't come forth to support his dear friend or uttered anything in favour of the film. Though Aamir mentioned about JAI HO in the new promo of his upcoming TV show Satyamev Jayate, it was done in an absolutely subtle manner, almost a-blink-and-miss one. We expected Aamir to say something on behalf of his friend or urge the fans to watch the film but nothing of that sort happened.
On the contrary, we hear, Aamir surprisingly threw a private bash to celebrate DHOOM 3's super success at his residence and invited only few guests. Of the guest list - Katrina Kaif, his leading lady in DHOOM 3, and her alleged beau Ranbir Kapoor, filmmaker Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji were present at the party. Though DHOOM 3 success celebration was much awaited, it came at a time when Salman Khan fell flat to exclaim 'Jai Ho'! It was pretty astonishing to see Aamir partying when his so-called friend failed to charm the audience!
Well, they say equations change every Friday in Bollywood and it quite seems to be true in our B-town's dost Amar-Prem's (Aamir & Salman) case!
