Surveen Chawla is dead sure of what she wants to do in giving a kick-start to her Bollywood career, it is as simple as that! For someone who had been knocking the doors of B-Town for quite some time while also keeping herself engaged in the world of Punjabi films, the ex-TV host had no qualms in getting into a new found bold avatar and up the heat quotient when it came to her debut Bollywood act HATE STORY 2.
Still, for someone who has been an entirely different personality on screen at the least, wasn't it tad discomforting for her to face the camera in an altogether new look, body language and attitude?
''See, when it comes to the question of comfort or discomfort, it is just one step away a mental block; that's about it. Once that is broken, there is no discomfort whatsoever. You have to see to it that you handle all work very professionally. Really, when I am not judging myself here, I care a rat's a$$ on what people are feeling about me,'' says Surveen in a matter of fact tone.

While her number 'Aaj Phir Tumpe Pyaar Aaya Hai' has already gone through censor board scrutiny, one wonders if there would be any further chopping from the final cut of the film which is being readied for release.
''Arrey, but then I am doing a mere job and when I pick that up, I have to do that passionately,'' says Surveen, ''Other than that, the nervousness and discomfort is there only when you do it for the first time. If I have to give you an example, it would be that of a kiss when you are a teenager. There is nervousness, but then it is only for those first few seconds. Same holds true in movies as well. And by the way, why are we just looking at a kiss here? Even when it comes to an emotional outburst, you wonder how it is going to work only initially. Later, when you let go, it just comes out of you naturally. That's the way I look at the whole thing.''
