After being around in the world of glamour for long, courtesy her stint with television, Punjabi girl Surveen Chawla is now getting her first big break in a Hindi film with HATE STORY 2. Though a popular name in Punjabi cinema, Surveen was patient enough to wait for long before a good call came her way for a Bollywood outing. Daring to make an unconventional beginning with HATE STORY 2, she also presents her bold new self in the film which is much in news for her dare-bare avatar coupled with high dramatic quotient bringing on further hype.
With the kind of theme, stage and setting that HATE STORY 2 carries, one hears that Surveen worked really hard to get into shape for that picture perfect body.
'That's right, because when I know that there is something that I need to do for a film like HATE STORY 2, I have to be on my toes. So while I was in my much leaner shape before the film, I had to put in that extra bit to be seen in a two piece bikini. I was religiously working out for a couple of months to get that perfect body shape. In fact I also got injured in the second month of shooting but came back fit after a break,' informs Surveen.

Now that the film has released today, how does she feel?
'Detached,' promptly says Surveen, 'Reason being that it is very easy for things to go in my head that arrey waah, my debut film itself is generating so much wave. But then I personally believe that it is better to be detached with whatever is happening around the film. It is better to be detached as that keeps my sanity intact. Now that the film has released, I would anyways know the response first hand so why keep thinking about it!'
