For the very first time, major action shots of Sajid Nadiadwala's KICK have been shot using drones (mini helicopters). They are essentially used for Hollywood action films but this is the first time drones are being used in India. The Salman Khan starrer has been shot in a lot of real locations. Even in the trailer of the film, we see hard core action sequences shot in Delhi and Poland.
Says a source, “While they were shooting the action sequences in Poland, Sajid Nadiadwala's production team along with the international crew arranged for drones to get the best shots. Multiple drones were used to get shots from different angles so that all sides could be covered.”
“Drones are expensive and need expertise of different kind to be filmed. This talent was especially flown in ?from LA. Be it for promotions or while they were shooting, Sajid Nadiadwala is sparing no expense towards his directorial debut. With the help of these drones, they managed to get shots even better than usual and Sajid Nadiadwala was very keen to have them. They had a special team on board to handle the drones as they needed to be handled in a certain way. Everyone was extremely happy with the outcome.” added the source.
KICK is produced and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala and features Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda & Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles. It is set to release this Eid!
