Riteish Deshmukh: It's going to be fun shooting BANGISTAN & HOUSEFULL 3

LAI BHAARI, Riteish Deshmukh's debut film as an actor in a Marathi film, has turned out to be successful as well, what with over 25 crore coming in two weeks flat. These are huge numbers indeed for a film which just has regional appeal. With one successful film after another and performances as diverse as in LAI BHAARI, EK VILLAIN and HUMSHAKALS, it is apparent that Riteish is making some smart choices as an actor.
"Still, it is not like there are dozens of choices available around you to pick and choose and then you opt for the best. It is not like going to store and picking a shirt which is there for everyone to choose from. Itna aasaan nahi hota hai. It is like choosing from whatever best comes to you. A tray may come to you with say, at maximum, four drinks, and you have a choice to pick up a Fanta or a Coke. Within the choices that are available, an actor has to make his career. I am glad that I have picked up the right drink at the right time," details Riteish.
However, if one thought that it would be bye-bye to comedy for a while at least, it isn't going to be the case, what with the actor continuing to showcase his funny bone with films like BANGISTAN and HOUSEFULL 3 all set to go on floors soon.
"Comedy is something that people have loved seeing me do; I too enjoy them immensely. It has been a great ride so far and thanks to these films, I am here today," says Riteish who has two 100 crore comedies (GRAND MASTI, HOUSEFULL 2) to his name, albeit both being multi-starrers, "Now it is going to be fun shooting for BANGISTAN and then HOUSEFULL 3. I am looking forward to them."
