Sonakshi Sinha opens up on men in her life
June 6, 2014 12:26:13 PM IST By Joginder Tuteja, Glamsham Editorial
It was an eventful 2013 for Sonakshi Sinha when she enjoyed four biggies to her name - Vikramaditya Motwane's LOOTERA, Milan Luthria's ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI DOBAARA, Tigmanshu Dhulia's BULLETT RAJA and Prabhu Dheva's R... RAJKUMAR with a special song and dance affair in Anthony D'Souza's BOSS.
This year it isn't any different as Sonakshi is going through the grind all over again with number of filmmakers that she is working with. She gives a quick lowdown on the men in her life.
Vipul Shah and A.R. Murugadoss (HOLIDAY)
Even though Vipul is an established director himself, he has not been interfering at all when Murugadoss is calling the shots. As a producer, he has drawn the line and never dictated terms on what should be done and how. He respects Murugadoss' space as a director. (Laughs) I know that at times he must have been itching to say something but then he never did that. As a producer, he had left no stones unturned.
Prabhudheva (ACTION JACKSON)
I have worked so much with Prabhu Dheva that I always expect some excellent song and dance sequences. It has been no different here. Imagine, he has made even Ajay dance (smiles). There is this elaborate song with lot of dancers around and complicated steps; it is a dream sequence. There is so much high energy on his sets. He just come on the sets and surprises me every day. It is learning on the job with him.
This is Amit's first feature film and he has been extremely good. Shooting for this has been a very difficult process though as we have filmed in real locations and crowded areas. This is turning out to be a very realistic and endearing love story with Arjun Kapoor. Amit is doing it all so well and is confidence personified. Arjun and I have really bonded after shooting for such long durations in tough weather conditions.
K.S. Ravikumar and Rajinikanth
In KOCHADAIIYAAN as well as ENDHIRAN/ROBOT, Rajinikanth got into this whole technological zone. However, along with Ravikumar, he is now coming back in the zone where his fans love him. It is a very thought provoking film. So far it has been a pleasure shooting for the film with Ravikumar. He touches the emotional quotient really well. It has been a quick progress and we would be hopefully arriving in December.
