Looks like Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha forms a good working rapport with southern filmmakers. Most of her films have been with south directors, especially Prabhudheva. She recently even worked in GHAJINI maker A. R. Murugadoss' HOLIDAY - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and now has bagged his next, a women-oriented film. Besides, Sona will be working in an upcoming Tamil drama, to be helmed by K. S. Ravikumar, and features Rajinikanth alongside.
Ask Sonakshi about her fondness towards south filmmakers and she says, ''Yes I have worked with them quite a bit and done four films with South-Indian filmmakers. They do have a slightly different style of working. They are much quicker, clearer of what they want and the shoot gets over in no time. They are very fast with their work as compared to Bollywood filmmakers.''
While Sonakshi is gearing up for yet another film with A. R. Murugadoss, ask her about the experience working with the filmmaker in HOLIDAY and she shares, ''It was a great experience. I enjoyed working with A. R. Murugadoss sir. He is very strict, thorough and perfectionist kind of director. It was an entirely new experience because he comes with a preconceived notion that this is what I want to do and this is how I want my actors to perform. For me it was different as it was less scope of improvisation because he extracts exactly what he wants. And that style is something I am new to. Usually you are given freedom to do what you want.''
Meanwhile, Sonakshi is preparing for upcoming films TEVAR and ACTION JACKSON!
