For Tamannaah, these are eventful days indeed. Just when she has seen the release of HUMSHAKALS, she is gearing up for IT'S ENTERTAINMENT. Song promos of the film are on and she is clearly enjoying an altogether different stage and setting as a solo heroine in the Akshay Kumar starrer. We get into a quick chat.
From HUMSHAKALS to IT'S ENTERTAINMENT, how has the journey been?
Though the film is rightly coming across as a fun and entertaining affair, it isn't just that. At the core of it, this is also a heart touching story. Its novel concept of a dog in there is what turns out to be the USP. As an actor you feel good when people get to see some new concepts in the commercial cinema zone. Personally, I think I have achieved something new.

You seem to be looking different, especially in the 'Johny Johny' beach party song.
Yeah, it is indeed a different look from what I had carried in HUMSHAKALS. There is something about a beach setting that makes you experiment with your looks and accessories. I am glad that has been noticed in 'Johny Johny'.
You are also working with Akshay Kumar for the first time.
Oh, he is such an amazing person and a great improviser. He picks a scene and takes it to another level. He is very inspiring since he is so hard working. He is an early morning riser and I love that aspect about him. After working for so many years in the industry, he still is so enthusiastic about his work which is really great.
