From being a gunda just a few weeks back to playing a simpleton in upcoming 2 STATES, it is an interesting phase for Arjun Kapoor who played a rough character in ISHAQZAADE followed by AURANGZEB. However, the youngster, who has three more films lined up for release before the end of year, has now decided to put his signing spree on hold and concentrate primarily on the job at hand.
When he signed these films, he thought it wouldn't be as difficult to work in back to back assignments. However, over last year and a half he has just been traveling out of suitcases. AURANGZEB took him to Delhi, GUNDAY was set in Bihar and West Bengal, 2 STATES has taken him to Ahmedabad as well, for TEVAR he has been traveling up North while FINDING FANNY required him to take a trip to Goa. It is so uncanny for him to shooting everywhere but home as there has hardly been a schedule for him in Mumbai, the city where he lives.
With non-stop travel and films that have required good dose of action, especially GUNDAY and now TEVAR, Arjun is looking at rejuvenating himself for a while before committing himself to any more back to back schedules.
"I have finished FINDING FANNY and 2 STATES. Now shooting of TEVAR is going on non-stop. For now, that's the only film that I am working on right now as I do not want to bog down myself with too much work. As it is, my three films are releasing this year in a back to back manner. I don't want to over-commit myself," says Arjun.
