The new releases of the week, namely Shilpa Shetty's DISHKIYAOON, the Syed Ahmad Afzal directed YOUNGISTAAN and Atul Aginihotri produced O TERI, all failed to open to a good response, with collections in the range of about 20 percent.
Comparatively it was Vashu Bhagnani's YOUNGISTAAN which led the race followed by the Sunny-Harman starrer DISHKIYAOON and then Pulkit Samrat's O TERI.
Given the audience feedback, it is the topical YOUNGISTAAN which is likely to fare the best amongst the three. .
YOUNGISTAAN, QUEEN AND RAGINI MMS 2
Meanwhile after a good to decent weekend (23 crore), the Sunny Leone starrer RAGINI MMS-2 saw stable mid-end collections during the weekdays and ended the first week netting 36-37 crore and is likely to end up as a hit to semi-hit venture, depending upon the second week performance.
The empress of 2014, Kangana Ranaut's QUEEN, continues to conquer more and more box-office laurels. The film has netted nearly 50 crore in three weeks from India and is a super hit, more so due to its superb overseas performance .
