It was reported late last week that the team of BABY had allegedly failed to pay dues of Rs. 25 lakhs (in Nepali currency) to a Nepali film management company. As a result of that, they had seized the shooting material claiming. This isn't all as the issue reached the police station in Nepal and both parties were asked to resolve the matter amicably in a face-to-face manner.
This was increasingly frustrating for the unit of BABY as they didn't just miss their flight to Istanbul but also suffered delays on account of beginning shoot there. Considering the fact that everything was pre-planned with hotels as well as locations booked, there was apparently a loss of another 50 lakhs for BABY.
Things have sorted out though and the entire unit is now in Istanbul shooting for the next schedule of BABY with Neeraj Pandey calling the shots.
"Thankfully, Akshay sir is very cool about and being his positive self. He has asked us all to forget about the incident and concentrate on making the film. For someone who has been around for over two decades in the industry, he is not the sort to be hassled by such incidents," says a close associate of the actor.
Meanwhile, the production team of BABY has thanked the local authorities of Nepal for the support and help provided to them. Not just that as Akshay received very warm reception by the local fan base in Nepal and he was so overwhelmed by the whole experience that he even took to social media to express his feelings.
Guess Akshay's calm nature is paying dividends all over again.
