He is a New York trained brainy actor who gets much appreciated for his brawn. He does not mind it though. It's better to get appreciated and admired for something than being ignored and going jobless. While he awaits his big opportunity, he tries to make the best of what comes his way. He would love to play a role like Rambo that goes well with his physical and histrionic prowess. Until he is offered a role of his choice he does not mind playing a brawny buffoon with his menacing screen presence.
He will be appearing next in a paranormal-bhoootiya-horror thriller titled PIZZA produced by UTV Spot Boy and Vijay Nambiar of SHAITAN fame. It's a 3D remake of a highly successful Tamil film by the same name. Nambiar has handed over the reins of direction to the debutant Akshay Akineni, son of the well-known veteran editor and multiple National Film Award winner, A. Sreekar Prasad. The film stars Akshay Oberoi, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Dipannita Sharma, Arunoday Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Omkar Das Manikpuri and Sonali Sachdev.
The 3D trailer of the film was screened for the media. It looks like a competent 3D job. The film was entirely shot in 3D and is the first horror film to have been co-produced, marketed and distributed by UTV Spot Boy, a banner known for promoting off beat low budget films. PIZZA will be in theatres this July.
