UTV Spotboy will be releasing the theatrical trailer of its first horror film with Tiger Shroff's launch vehicle HEROPANTI that releases this Friday (23rd May, 2014). Though PIZZA is a 3D film, the trailer will be in 2D. This is the first foray of UTV Spotboy into the 3D horror genre. The banner is better known for having produced low budget off beat films like PAAN SINGH TOMAR.

The paranormal-bhoootiya-horror thriller is jointly produced by UTV Spotboy and Vijay Nambiar of SHAITAN fame. It's a 3D remake of a highly successful Tamil film by the same name. Nambiar reportedly bought the rights of the remake for a whopping price like Rs.1.5 crores, the production budget of the original Tamil version.

The film is directed by debutant Akshay Akineni, son of the well-known veteran editor and multiple National Film Award winner A. Sreekar Prasad. The film stars Akshay Oberoi, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Dipannita Sharma, Arunoday Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Omkar Das Manikpuri and Sonali Sachdev.

The 3D trailer of the film was screened for the media. It looks like a competent 3D job. The film was entirely shot in 3D and revolves around a pizza delivery boy who gets stuck in a haunted house.
