Actor Riteish Deshmukh is saddened by the demise of veteran actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar today in a Mumbai hospital.

“Rip Sadashiv Amrapurkarji- a great actor & a super human being. I was looking fwd to working with him in @Bankchor. Miss you sir,” posted Riteish on a micro-blogging site.

He further added, "His performances in Ardh Satya, Sadak were inspirational. Thank you,sir for the entertainment.My deepest condolences to the family. RIP."
