BAGHBAN director Ravi Chopra passes away

Filmmaker and producer Ravi Chopra, the director of hit television series ‘Mahabharat' passed away earlier today.


Son of producer-director B.R.Chopra and nephew of Yash Chopra, Ravi Chopra was suffering through lung cancer and took his last breath at 3PM today.

The 68 year old has directed movies namely, ZAMEER (1975), THE BURNING TRAIN (1980), MAZDOOR (1983), DAHLEEZ (1986), BAGHBAN (2003) and BAABUL (2006).

Ravi Chopra has also produced the hit film BHOOTHNATH.

Earlier too, on 23 October 2012, he was diagnosed with a severe lung ailment and was discharged from Breach Candy hospital after a week.
