Though Shahid Kapoor starrer HAIDER was well received by the critics, the film's content didn't go down well with a section of audience and they eventually decided to boycott it on a popular micro-blogging site. The film raked up several debates around on the social media platform.
However, our Bollywood celebs have a different take on it.
Recently, when we caught up with Saif Ali Khan and Kalki Koechlin at HAPPY ENDING trailer launch event, here's what they had to say:
Saif: I would never want to boycott anything. I think freedom of speech and expression is wonderful and great. We should have censor board because some people can make crazy movies and we are very sensitive country. I am not saying everything should be allowed but cinema should be liberal.

Kalki: Social media is a place to voice opinions both for and against. It's everybody's personal choice. Everyone has the right to express. I personally don't boycott HAIDER. I had gone to see HAIDER and liked it very much but people are allowed to boycott also. People can have healthy debate on it…
Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Tabu, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, HAIDER, which was an adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', set in Kashmir in the 1990s, is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film released on October 2nd 2014.
