Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan was all praises for his HAPPY NEW YEAR co-star and actress Deepika Padukone, for her bold stand about the recent controversy involving a leading daily.
Angry Deepika lashed out at a leading daily on a micro-blogging site for highlighting an obscene video which showcased her cleavage.
When asked SRK about the whole incident he stated, “What Deepika said was wonderful… we don’t have the guts to do what she has done, but we believe in it and we support it. We should respect the individuality and the job we do,” adding further, “What Deepika did was fantastic and it would be stupid of us to even talk about that. We stand by her. All of us have to stand by her… but we should not trivialise it and make it a part of conversation.”

However, Deepika, who feels she has said enough about it, chose to stay mum at the event.
“I think I have said whatever I had to and everything else will be taken care of,” concluded Deepika.
