At the trailer launch of WELCOME TO KARACHI, while interacting with the media, Arshad Warsi, who was suffering from a bad throat, allegedly ‘upset' two journalists with his remarks.
It so happened that during the press conference, a journalist asked him how the term ‘Wadthef**k' used in the film was conceptualised. To which he jokingly replied, 'We went to the Himalayas and took a couple of hours...Silly question. Next question.'
After a while, another journalist, while asking a question pronounced film as ‘flim'. Arshad questioned him, 'Yeh flim kya hota hai, bhai?' The journalist replied that it was a slip of tongue and like Arshad had a problem with his throat, he had a problem with his tongue. To this, Arshad said, 'Mera toh galla kharab hai, tumhara dimaag kharab hai.'
